Imagine having to leave your homecountry; What are you taking with you, what is most precious to you? Who can you trust, what new things can you learn? Where will you end up, how can you fit in?
‘Trekvogels’ (migrating birds) tells a story of hope, adventure and the power of the group. The history and the stories of passengers of the ‘Red Star Line’ serve as a source of inspiration. Accompanied by live music we follow a group of people on their exciting journey; from the hesitating first steps to the promise of a better life in a new country. We see them evolve from individuals to a strong, harmonious group. Just like a flock of birds crossing the seas together.
